As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine bicycle patrols throughout assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will engage with visitors and staff, provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the assigned location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Preferred ability to ride a bike for long periods of time.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
