Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Glaziers for projects located in the Van Nuys, CA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:          

• Install glass in storefronts, curtain walls, windows, doors, skylights, mirrors, shower enclosures, and glass railing systems
• Measure, cut, grind, and polish glass to precise specifications
• Install and secure metal, wood, and vinyl framing systems
• Apply sealants, gaskets, and weatherproofing materials to ensure watertight and airtight installations
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Safely handle and install large glass panels and glazing systems
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting project schedules

Requirements

• 7+ years of commercial glazing experience
• Strong experience with storefronts, curtain walls, and commercial glass systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and shop drawings
• Knowledge of glazing tools, sealants, and installation methods
