POSITION SUMMARY:


The Vaccine Clinic Support Assistant provides operational support for vaccination clinics by assisting with setup, breakdown, logistics, and day-of event operations. This role requires a dependable, energetic individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, perform physical tasks, and provide basic technical support to clinic staff and participants. This position will report directly to the Director of Facilities and Operations but take on site direction from the designated site lead.


ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: The list that follows is not intended to be comprehensive; it is intended to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities of the position. Incumbents may not be required to perform all duties listed, and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks


• Work with the facilities Director in getting all supplies and equipment prepared and loaded for clinics. 

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of vaccine clinic locations, including tents, tables, chairs, signage, equipment, and supplies

• Provide general support to the Clinic team as it pertains to all equipment, supplies and setup.

• Troubleshoot minor technology issues related to clinic operations, including laptops, printers, tablets, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout clinic operations.

• Load, unload, and move supplies and equipment as needed.

• Communicate and work collaboratively with all team members in a manner that exemplifies positivity and the Annenberg touch.

• Effective written and oral communication skills to compose routine correspondence.

• Work in environment surrounded by animals.

•  Related duties as assigned 

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and web-based systems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

• An individual who can contribute to the culture of respect for all individuals and animals.

• Commitment to, and passion for, the mission of Wallis Annenberg Legacy Foundation. 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, grasp grip, put fingers together firmly and reach above and below shoulder level and lift up to 50 lbs, push or pull requirements of up to 100 pounds on Dolly or cart, repetitively use of hands to operate computers; flex the neck upward and downward; twist the neck and the waist. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.


WORK CONDITIONS: Location will vary depending on where the clinic is set to take place. Most work will be outdoors and will be regularly on your feet. Weekend availability is required.
