Job Description:
Responsibilities & Duties:Â Â
- Meet D.O.T requirements.
- Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders and stairs, stand, walk, and turn/pivot frequently throughout the workdayÂ
- Full time: 8-10 hours per day, 4-5 days per 7-day weekÂ
- Report to work on a regular and timely basis and complete the scheduled workday consistentlyÂ
- Ability to work varying shifts, additional hours and/or overtime depending on service needsÂ
- Sitting required infrequently throughout the workdayÂ
- Lift, lower, push, pull, leverage, and manipulate equipment and/or packages weighing up to 70 poundsÂ
- Assist in moving packages or equipment up to 150 poundsÂ
- Simple hand grasping, power hand grasping, fine hand manipulation, reaching from foot level to above shoulder level as necessary to complete assigned tasksÂ
- Operate standard/manual transmissionÂ
- Operate power, and pneumatic toolsÂ
- Required to wear personal protective equipmentÂ
- Must meet all requirements to be Power Industrial Truck Operations (PITO) certified
- Work in an environment with variable temperatures and humidity (climatic conditions), exposure to cleaning materials, petroleum products, dust, dirt, and noise, outside inclement weather
- Work cooperatively in a diverse work environmentÂ
- Have a sufficient ability to communicate, through sight, hearing, and/or otherwise, to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditionsÂ
Basic Qualifications:Â
- U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.Â
- Must have your own complete set of hand toolsÂ
- Must have experience completing repairs and or bodywork on trailer or dolly equipment.Â
- Must be at least 21 years of age.Â
- Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred. Â
- Working in inclement weather is requiredÂ
- Overtime and variable hours are required during peak season.Â
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $40.21 per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.Â
