The M&A Unit is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our specialized team. Reporting directly to theĀ unitĀ manager, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with fellowĀ financialĀ analysts to support theĀ Eighth DistrictāsĀ regulatory application review process.Ā
As an M&A Financial Analyst, you will independently manage a caseload of application and notice filings from initial intake and acceptance through comprehensive review, analysis, and final disposition. In this capacity, you will evaluate filing proposals against relevant statutory factors and analytical considerations, including assessing the financial and managerial condition of applicant and target entities,Ā analyzing theirĀ prospects, and identifying potential concerns for timely escalation toĀ unit management. You will prepare comprehensive documentation that includes thorough summaries of filing proposals, detailed analysis against statutory factors and regulatory considerations, andĀ supportedĀ recommendations for action by the Reserve Bank under delegated authority or referral to Federal Reserve Board of GovernorsāĀ staff.Ā
You willĀ alsoĀ serve as a subject matter expert on assigned filings, presentingĀ case summaries and status updates in weekly team and ad hocĀ meetings. The position requires frequent collaboration with stakeholders, including internal teams such as safety and soundness, consumer affairs, and legal staff, as well as external parties including other bank regulatory agencies, applicants and their representatives, and Federal Reserve Board of GovernorsāĀ staff. Additionally, you will have opportunities to participate in special projects and Federal Reserve System M&A workgroups, contributing to broaderĀ System M&A initiatives.Ā Ā

Maintain knowledge of banking laws and regulations and Board policies and guidanceĀ
