Hours: Monday – Friday; 7 - 3:30, OT as needed.

Pay: $18.56 - $27.88

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Performs standardized quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, components.
  • Ensure compliance with internal/external quality standards. 
  • Records inspection data and compares to existing standards.
  • Clearly communicate and document non-conformances.
  • Resolves routine questions and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels. 
  • Performs housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized. 
  • Understands and participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Must be able and willing to float to areas of greatest business needs.
  • Takes on new activities or special assignments when given.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 1 - 2 years of manufacturing or related experience.
  • Previous inspection training and /or experience preferred.
  • Experience with Lean and continuous improvement projects preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Applies basic inspection skills related to inspection procedures, techniques, tools, materials, and/or equipment.
  • Familiar with using the appropriate inspection tooling (i.e., micrometers, calipers, thread gages) to accurately measure part features preferred.
  • Engineering drawing (blueprint) reading skills preferred.
  • Able to perform basic math with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
  • PC Skills in order to navigate production reporting (SAP).
  • Ability to follow standard work as trained.

 

 

Total Compensation = Pay range + Benefits

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Tennant Sales and Service Co. reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualifications of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.  The salary range reflects both entry into the role and future growth. Total Compensation = Base Salary + Benefits
