Job Summary:
W.W. Clyde is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to help us oversee our turnkey construction projects in the front range area and surrounding states.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily safety & health inspections and maintain written log 
  • Oversee any and all safety-related investigations and complete required reports 
  • Ensure superintendent, project management, and subcontractor compliance with safety and health requirements 
  • Attend pre-construction, pre-work, and in-progress meetings as required 
  • Conduct trainings on a variety of risk management areas 
  • Maintain applicable safety reference material 
  • Projects normally run 5-6 days a week requiring onsite supervision 
  • Occasional night work and overnight travel 

 

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 10 years of construction experience  
  • At least 3 years of Safety Manager experience 
  • Hold a Board of Certified Safety Professionals CHST, OHST, OSHA 500
  • Required: Completed the OSHA 500 course for construction within the last 24 months, remaining current for the duration of the project. 
  • Optional: Provide proof of non-expired completion of a Red Cross or approved equal for Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and (AED). 
  • Optional: Provide proof of completion of FMCSA compliant 2-hour drug and alcohol reasonable suspicion supervisory training. 
  • Required: Excellent people, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills 
  • Optional: Understanding of Owners Controlled Insurance Programs 
  • Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
