POSITION: Part-Time Custodial Staff

REPORTS TO: Operations Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt, Hourly

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Cleaning public areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, elevators, stairs, glass railings, windows, and other general cleaning tasks as needed
General cleaning of employee areas and service support areas
Vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in all areas
Floor maintenance including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing and other floor tasks as needed
Completing custodial checklists as necessary
Ensuring proper use and care of cleaning equipment and machines
Working with and/or directing work efforts of other part time/temporary personnel
Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and REQUIREMENTS:

Due to the varied nature of events, availability on nights, weekends and holidays may be required
Must be able to work independently as well as direct work efforts of others
Ability to read and follow directions is a must
Ability to bend, twist and lift 25 lbs regularly is required
Must be able to follow proper work procedures and safety requirements
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform simple repairs is helpful
