Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal Porters to join our team at Big Meadows Lodge in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. As a Porter, you will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties around the hotel, both inside and out.

• Assist in employee housing area with cleaning and laundry duties
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Additional housekeeping duties as needed
• Report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in housekeeping preferred

• No experience or diploma required

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in variable temperatures such as rain and high heat
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and other ranges of motion for an extended time
