Skilled Construction Laborers - Gas / Pipe experience

The Staff Pad has partnered with a full-serviceexcavation and pipeline construction company providing comprehensive solutionsfor pipeline and infrastructure projects in Mabank, TX. We are seeking SkilledConstruction Laborers with experience in gas or pipe work to support fieldoperations and ongoing construction projects.

This position will assist with excavation, pipeinstallation, backfill, site maintenance, and material handling whilemaintaining a safe and organized work environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with excavation, backfill, and compaction for pipeline construction
  
• Assist with pipe installation and related construction activities
  
• Move, stack, load, and organize construction materials
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  
• Operate small equipment, including water pumps
  
• Perform fire watch duties as required
  
• Use a variety of hand tools and construction equipment
  
• Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  
• Perform other construction and labor duties as assigned
  

What We Are Looking For

Experience

• 2+ years of construction experience preferred
  
• Previous experience with gas or pipe construction preferred
  
• Experience with excavation, pipe installation, backfill, or compaction
  

Additional Skills and Attributes

• Ability to safely operate basic construction equipment and hand tools
  
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a team
  
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work in varying weather conditions
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods
  
• Ability to reach, crawl, climb, grasp, kneel, squat, and twist
  
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  
• Requires full range of body motion and good hand-eye coordination
  
• Ability to work safely while performing physically demanding tasks
  
• Corrected vision and hearing within normal range
