  • Daily Working Hours: Full-Time
  • Travel: Hybrid – Onsite travel required for go-lives
  • Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

Project Scope
We are seeking a MEDITECH Expanse Technical Foundation Analyst to protect the technical integrity of an Expanse environment and 25 active interfaces throughout a multi-site redesign and go-live program. This role will assess master files, build the interface impact matrix, remediate foundational issues, and run interface regression testing before each go-live wave.

Position Summary
The Technical Foundation Analyst will serve as the technical guardian of the Expanse environment, ensuring the core build, schemas, domains, and all 25 third-party interfaces remain stable as dictionaries change across a phased, multi-site implementation. This individual will assess master files and build integrity, coordinate MEDITECH-owned changes under MaaS, and run interface regression testing with vendors before each Wave 1 and Wave 2 go-live. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of Expanse dictionary and master file build experience, NPR Data Repository SQL expertise, and hands-on HL7 v2 testing experience at a small or rural healthcare organization — large-system-only MEDITECH experience does not qualify.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess master files, schemas and domains (M-AT and NPR), and core build integrity with rolling findings beginning at project start.
  • Build the interface impact matrix for all 25 active interfaces.
  • Remediate foundational issues and coordinate MEDITECH-owned changes under MaaS.
  • Run interface regression testing with vendors before each go-live: Wave 1 and every Wave 2 clinic.
  • Validate interfaces for remaining Wave 2 go-lives through program completion.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Expanse dictionary and master file build experience.
  • Expanse MaaS experience including MEDITECH change requests.
  • NPR Data Repository SQL experience across Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology, and financial applications plus M-AT.
  • HL7 v2 testing experience (ADT, orders and results, scheduling) with third-party vendors.
  • Hands-on work at a Critical Access Hospital, Rural Health Clinic, FQHC, or community hospital under 100 beds — large-system-only MEDITECH experience does not qualify.
  • Ability to travel onsite for go-lives as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FHIR API experience.
  • Interface engine experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Deep MEDITECH Expanse technical expert who understands how master file and dictionary changes ripple across interfaces and reports.
  • NPR SQL proficient with hands-on experience supporting Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology, and financial applications.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented with a track record of clean interface regression testing and foundational remediation.
  • Experienced in small and rural healthcare environments where one change can affect the entire system.
  • Brings technical precision, accountability, and a proactive mindset to every engagement.
