What You’ll Do Inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair commercial trucks and trailers Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and air systems Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections Repair brakes, suspension components, lighting and trailer equipment Use diagnostic equipment, schematics and service information Complete basic welding and fabrication when needed Document repairs and communicate findings to the service team Learn diesel and transport refrigeration systems through hands-on training Follow Company and customer safety procedures What We’re Looking For Hands-on mechanical experience from any relevant industry Ability to diagnose problems and determine practical solutions Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic systems Experience using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment Willingness to learn truck, trailer and refrigeration repair Ability to work safely and independently Basic computer skills or willingness to learn Valid and unrestricted driver’s license High school diploma or equivalent Diesel, truck, trailer or refrigeration experience is preferred but not required.
