- Record inventory data manually or on a computer or handheld electronic deviceÂ
- Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical counts of stockÂ
- Receive, count, and verify outgoing ordersÂ
- Label stock items with labeling equipment such as identification tags or stampsÂ
- Safely operate machinery for moving stock items, such as standing forklifts Â
- Process shipping requests, requisitions, or purchase ordersÂ
- Distribute products or materials to store shelves, co-workers, or customersÂ
- Coordinate with co-workers to accomplish large tasks efficientlyÂ
- Process damaged or defective stock per company protocolÂ
- Report malfunctioning or damaged stock-handling equipment to managementÂ
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and requisitionsÂ
- Prepare documents and reports for transactions or regulatory complianceÂ
- Comply with safety regulations for moving heavy objects and using machineryÂ
- Keep the stock room neat and orderlyÂ
- Inventory stock of materials, supplies, parts, and merchandiseÂ
