Schedule will be the same each week. Hours will fall between Monday- Friday, business hours.

We are seeking an Optometrist to:

Join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to provide quality care as an independent health care provider while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including general and specialty ophthalmologists.
Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
Plan and create learning opportunities for technical staff and residents.
Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and treatment plans.
This position will be seeing dry eye, corneal disease, and urgent patients

Qualifications

Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited Optometry School Required
Completion of a one-year residency in post-optometry school study Preferred

Work Experience

3 years post graduate clinical experience OR completion of a residency program Required
7 years of relevant clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

State of Wisconsin Optometry Licensure Upon Hire Required
CPR certification Upon Hire Required
