Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee day-to-day retail dining operations at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital in Cypress, Texas.

The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of retail food service operations, ensuring a high-quality dining experience that meets client expectations and company standards. This role oversees daily operations, including food safety, customer service, merchandising, and financial performance. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, build and develop a strong team, and deliver a consistently positive customer experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Leverages Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members to their fullest potentialÂ

- Ensures safety and sanitation standards in all operationsÂ
- Maintains effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationshipsÂ
- Identifies client needs and communicates operational progressÂ
- Ensures the completion and maintenance of profit and loss statementsÂ
- Deliver client and company financial targetsÂ
- Adopts all Aramark processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve marginsÂ
- Creates value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit managementÂ
- Complies with the Operational Excellence fundamentals by meeting and maintaining food and labor initiativesÂ
- Ensures entire team is trained and able to executeÂ
- Supervises team regarding production, quality and controlÂ
- Maintains a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employeesÂ
- Primarily responsible for food service at an assigned retail food locationÂ
- Assists manger in establishing and maintaining systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food & related products, as well as menu planning & developmentÂ
- Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are metÂ
- Directly supervises two or more employees with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increasesÂ
- Assists in location forecast and accountingÂ
- Conducts period inventory; performs other functions such as maintaining records to comply with ARAMARK, government and accrediting agency standardsÂ
- Coordinates activities with other internal departmentsÂ
- Interfaces with vendors and key service users within client organizationÂ
- Manages Front of House (Cafeteria, Food Court, Quick Service) dining operationsÂ
- Develops and implements retail services plans to improve service, quality and profitability of service areas  Â
- Maintain effective working relationships with other departments to provide a unified retail experience for customers

Qualifications
Â
- Associate degree from an accredited college or university
- 2-3 years of food service, retail, healthcare, or hospitality leadership experience
- 1-3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience managing retail operations, catering services, or multiple food service outlets preferred
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on leader who thrives in building operations from the ground up and can successfully navigate a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment
- Proven ability to lead through change and successfully adapt to evolving business needs and operational strategies
- Demonstrated ability to identify operational improvement opportunities and implement creative solutions that enhance the patient, visitor, and team member experience
- Experience developing new programs, services, or operational processes from concept to execution preferred
