Delaney Computer Services (DCS) is seeking an experienced MSP Support Technician to join our growing team - PREVIOUS MSP WORK EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY

This is a hybrid role that combines in-office support, remote troubleshooting, project work, and onsite client visits. Most of your time will be spent working from our Mahwah office supporting clients remotely, but you will also travel to client locations when hands-on assistance, deployments, projects, or infrastructure work is required.

We are looking for someone with real-world IT experience who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and own issues from start to finish. The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting users, troubleshooting complex technical problems, communicating directly with clients, and making informed decisions without requiring constant supervision.

At DCS, no two days are the same.

One day you may be resolving Microsoft 365 issues, troubleshooting network problems, and assisting users remotely. The next, you may be onsite deploying workstations, installing network equipment, assisting with an office move, or participating in a client project.

Success in this role requires initiative, accountability, professionalism, and a strong desire to solve problems.

What You'll DoTechnical Support
  • Provide remote and onsite support for end users across multiple client environments.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, hardware, software, and business application issues.
  • Resolve technical issues efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Take ownership of tickets from initial contact through resolution.
Client Support & Field Work
  • Travel to client locations as needed for support, deployments, projects, and installations.
  • Perform workstation setups, hardware replacements, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Assist with network and infrastructure deployments.
  • Work directly with clients in professional business environments.
Projects & Infrastructure
  • Assist with server, network, and cloud projects.
  • Participate in office moves, technology refreshes, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Install and configure business technology solutions.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records.
Proactive Support
  • Monitor client environments and respond to alerts.
  • Perform system maintenance and routine administrative tasks.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in maintaining secure and reliable client environments.
  • Strong knowledge of desktops, networking, wireless, and end-user troubleshooting
  • Experience with POS systems, AV, VoIP, access control, and cameras preferred
  • Experience with rack mounting, cabling, patching, and onsite installations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
  • Reliable, hardworking, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel throughout the New York City and New Jersey metro area
  • Flexible schedule with availability for some evenings, weekends, and holidays
