We are actively recruiting for a Rapid Response (Nights)Complex care Nurse for Mid / West Kent.

35 Hours per week.

Are you a Registered Nurse with experience of working out inthe community or with experience of working clinically with complex careclients?

Working as a Rapid Response Nurse within a regional ComplexCare division, you will provide a high standard of nursing support to ourclients with complex healthcare needs. Your main role will be to support inproviding a high level of clinical staffing contingency for the clients we workwith. This will entail working with a wide range of clients across yourdesignated area/ division, often being given late or changing assignments andat times having to move between clients during the working day or night. Fromtime to time, you may be requested to work further afield.

You will work on a two weekly rolling rota (averaging 35 hrsa week), and you will have a permanent contract with the opportunity to top upyour hours at a higher rate of pay, for example Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun, followedby Mon. Thurs, Fri. Majority of the time you will be working a clinical shiftacross any of the Kent based complex care clients, when there is no requirementfor you to work clinically then you will be signing off competencies, so agreat opportunity if you are seeking additional responsibility but stillwanting to work hands on with clients.

Requirements

About you

• You will be a Registered Nurse and hold a valid NMC PIN with a minimum of two years’ post-registration experience.

• Experience of providing community-based care ideally complex care, such as spinal or brain injuries, PEG, tracheostomy care, ventilators.

• You will have the ability to effectively manage and care for the needs of both adults and children who require complex care.

• You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence.

• To cover East / South Kent with the flexibility to cover other parts of Kent if needed.
