Systems Administrator (Manassas, VA - Onsite)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Administer and maintain Windows and Linux serverenvironments, virtualization platforms, and (desired) enterprise Nutanix HCIenvironments
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support daily operational activities, incidentresolution, and customer requests.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor system health, performance, security, andavailability.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Manage user accounts, permissions, and accesscontrols.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, andbackup verification.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Troubleshoot infrastructure issues involving servers,storage, networking, and directory services.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support continuous improvement initiatives andadherence to IT standards, compliance requirements, and security policies.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, andbusiness teams to meet operational and project requirements.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Computer Science, Engineering,related field, or equivalent practical experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum 3 to 5+ years of experience supportingenterprise IT infrastructure.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with:
o聽聽 Windows Server and/or Red Hat Linux administration
o聽聽 VMware virtualization technologies
o聽聽 DNS and Active Directory services
o聽聽 SAN/NAS storage and backup solutions (desired)
o聽聽 Enterprise server hardware in a data centerenvironment
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Industry certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or RHCE.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or otherscripting languages.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Familiarity with ITIL processes and service managementbest practices.
