Join the Good Neighbor Society team and help us create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff!As a Maintenance Technician, you will: ✅ Complete work orders and repairs✅ Assist with building maintenance projects✅ Maintain grounds and outdoor spaces✅ Troubleshoot equipment and facility needs✅ Support residents, families, and team membersQualifications: Qualifications & Requirements• High school diploma or equivalent preferred• Previous maintenance, construction, landscaping, groundskeeping, facility management, or related experience preferred• Basic knowledge of building systems, equipment maintenance, and repair techniques• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and maintenance machinery• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills• Ability to prioritize work orders and manage multiple tasks effectively• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, vendors, and team members• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record preferred• Must successfully complete applicable background checks and pre-employment requirements What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in maintaining a safe and attractive environment, responds promptly to maintenance needs, and is committed to providing exceptional service to residents and fellow team members.
