Capstone Logistics is seeking motivated Warehouse Associates ready to develop their leadership skills and grow into future management opportunities. This position is designed for high-performing individuals who want to expand their knowledge of warehouse operations, lead by example, and gain hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.

 

This role combines warehouse operations with team leadership responsibilities and serves as a key stepping stone toward management.

 

What You'll Do

 

- Participate in and lead pre-shift meetings

- Conduct daily stretching and safety exercises before each shift

- Perform safety observations and reinforce safe work practices

- Coach and train warehouse associates

- Support site leadership with day-to-day operations

- Communicate effectively with management and team members

- Assist with yard marshalling responsibilities

- Learn all aspects of receiving, unloading, and loading operations

- Help oversee workflow within designated warehouse areas

- Support productivity, quality, and customer service goals

- Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual material handling techniques

- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment

 

What We're Looking For

 

- Strong work ethic and leadership potential

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

- Ability to lift and carry 25-75 lbs. throughout the shift

- Positive attitude and willingness to coach and support team members

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Previous warehouse, unloading, loading, or equipment experience preferred

- Interest in developing leadership and management skills
