Respect • Independence • Opportunity
A growing premium mobile marine service provider is seeking an experienced Mobile Marine Technician to serve boat owners throughout Naples, Marco Island, Goodland, and the surrounding area.
This company was founded by a boater who understands the frustrations customers and technicians often experience with traditional marine-service models. The goal is to provide responsive, high-quality service for clients while giving technicians the tools, autonomy, and respect they need to do exceptional work.
If you take pride in your craft, communicate well with boat owners, and want the independence of mobile service with the support of a professionally built operation, this could be an excellent next step.
Why This Role Is Different
This is an opportunity to take ownership of your work without being micromanaged. You will serve as a trusted technical resource for clients while representing a modern, professional marine-service operation built around quality workmanship, transparency, and customer trust.
The company’s automated service platform manages scheduling, reminders, service agreements, payment authorization, and invoicing. You will work from a new, fully stocked service van and use a company-provided tablet to:
Access scheduled work and customer information.
Scan parts directly into client invoices.
Upload before-and-after photographs.
Maintain accurate digital service records.
Send customers real-time arrival updates.
Document findings, recommendations, and completed work.
The equipment and operational infrastructure are already in place, allowing you to focus on diagnosing problems, completing quality repairs, and providing an exceptional client experience.
What You’ll Do
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on outboard engines and propulsion systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, fuel, steering, and hydraulic issues.
Complete equipment installations, system upgrades, and accessory installations.
Travel to boats at residences, marinas, storage facilities, and other local service locations.
Communicate directly with clients to understand their concerns and explain findings and recommended repairs.
Document completed work, parts used, photographs, and service recommendations through the company’s digital platform.
Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked service vehicle.
Follow manufacturer procedures, safety requirements, and professional service practices.
Help establish the service standards and customer experience of a growing mobile marine operation.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This company is not simply filling an open position. It is building a flagship mobile service operation around excellent workmanship, responsive communication, and a better experience for both clients and technicians.
You will have an opportunity to influence how the service operation develops, establish trusted relationships with local boat owners, and grow alongside the business. For the right technician, this role offers independence, professional respect, modern equipment, and the chance to be recognized for the quality of your work.
If you are ready to bring your technical expertise to a company that values quality, professionalism, and client care, we would like to meet you.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening and verification of driving eligibility.
