Title: HRIS AnalystÂ
Reports To: Director of Human ResourcesÂ
Department: Human ResourcesÂ
Location: Marietta (On-site)Â
Compensation: Up to $90,000Â
Last Updated: 2026Â
Â
POSITION IMPACTÂ
ProCo LLC is a management services organization supporting five healthcare service lines, including AICA Orthopedics — Atlanta’s premier orthopedic and surgical group operating 21 clinics and 3 surgery centers across metro Atlanta with 400+ team members.Â
Paylocity is the operational backbone of HR, payroll, and benefits administration across ProCo. This role owns that system completely — its integrity, its configuration, and its performance. But ownership here means more than keeping the lights on. It means making the system work smarter.Â
The HRIS Analyst comes in with a clear immediate mandate: audit the current Paylocity environment, resolve inherited configuration issues, and establish the data governance standards the organization depends on. From there, this role shifts into systems design and analytics — building the reporting infrastructure, workflow automations, and process efficiencies that allow HR and Operations leadership to make better decisions faster.Â
The right person for this role is technically confident, analytically driven, and energized by turning messy systems into clean ones. You don’t wait to be asked — you spot the inefficiency and fix it.Â
WHAT YOU’LL OWNÂ
System Audit & Stabilization (Immediate Priority)Â
Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing Paylocity configuration, workflows, and integrationsÂ
Identify non-standard configurations, data anomalies, and process gapsÂ
Develop and execute a remediation plan in partnership with the Senior HR ManagerÂ
Document current system state and establish a clean baseline for ongoing governanceÂ
HRIS Administration & System OwnershipÂ
Own Paylocity configuration, module management, and platform updatesÂ
Manage user access, roles, and permissions across the organizationÂ
Process new hire setup, status changes, and terminations with accuracy and timelinessÂ
Maintain employee data integrity through regular audits and quality checksÂ
Manage Paylocity vendor relationship and serve as primary point of contact for support escalationsÂ
Coordinate system integrations with payroll, benefits carriers, and third-party vendorsÂ
Systems Design & Process AutomationÂ
Identify manual or redundant HR workflows and design system-based solutionsÂ
Build and implement Paylocity workflow automations to reduce administrative burdenÂ
Design scalable onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle transaction processes within the systemÂ
Evaluate and implement new Paylocity modules or features that improve operational efficiencyÂ
Partner with HR and Operations leadership to understand workflow pain points and engineer solutionsÂ
Reporting & Data AnalyticsÂ
Design and maintain a standard HR reporting suite: headcount, turnover, compensation, benefits, time & attendanceÂ
Build dashboards and recurring reports for HR, Finance, and Operations leadershipÂ
Produce compliance reports for EEOC, ACA, and other regulatory requirementsÂ
Respond to ad hoc data requests and translate raw data into actionable insightsÂ
Identify trends, surface anomalies, and proactively present findings to leadershipÂ
Payroll & Benefits CoordinationÂ
Partner with Finance on payroll data accuracy and timely processingÂ
Support benefits enrollment, carrier file feeds, and open enrollment system configurationÂ
Troubleshoot payroll and benefits discrepancies at the system levelÂ
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
RequiredÂ
3+ years of HRIS administration or analyst experience with direct Paylocity ownershipÂ
Demonstrated ability to audit, troubleshoot, and optimize HRIS configurationsÂ
Hands-on experience designing or improving HR system workflows and automationsÂ
Strong data analysis and reporting skills — comfortable building reports and dashboards from scratchÂ
Healthcare, ambulatory care, or multi-site operations experienceÂ
Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to data integrity and documentationÂ
Technically confident — comfortable learning new tools, integrations, and system capabilities independentlyÂ
PreferredÂ
Paylocity expertiseÂ
Experience conducting a full HRIS audit or leading a system cleanup or migration projectÂ
Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets at an advanced level; experience with BI tools a plusÂ
Familiarity with ACA reporting, EEOC data requirements, and compliance reportingÂ
Exposure to HR process mapping, workflow design, or operational efficiency projectsÂ
Â
THE IDEAL CANDIDATEÂ
This role is the right fit if you...Â
See a manual process and immediately start designing a better oneÂ
Approach inherited system complexity methodically — you assess before you act, then you fix it completelyÂ
Are the person others come to when something in the system doesn’t make senseÂ
Get as much satisfaction from a clean dataset as from a well-designed workflowÂ
Are comfortable being both the technical expert and a collaborative partner to non-technical teammatesÂ
Don’t need to be asked to find inefficiencies — you find them and bring solutionsÂ
This role is not the right fit if you prefer to maintain systems as-is or work primarily from established processes. This organization is actively improving its HR infrastructure and needs someone who brings ideas, not just execution.Â
REWARDSÂ
Up to $90,000 base salary commensurate with experienceÂ
Full benefits package including medical, dental, and visionÂ
PTO and paid holidaysÂ
Direct partnership with HR and Finance leadershipÂ
Genuine ownership of a critical system with real latitude to improve itÂ
A technically interesting challenge at a growing multi-site healthcare organizationÂ
