Job Description:

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

POSITION: Chemistry Adjunct Instructor

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Part-time position based on semester system. This position is for the Fall 2026 semester beginning on August 17, 2026 and ending December 14, 2026. Adjunct faculty responsibilities are centered on preparing and teaching classes as assigned. Day and evening instructors are needed for multiple campuses.

NOTE: Adjunct Instructor positions are part time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited and there is no expectation that your association with Chatt Tech will extend beyond this term.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in chemistry coursework
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and computer literacy skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience teaching

SALARY/BENEFITS:  Salary--$2,300 per course.  There are no State Benefits.

Please be aware that all Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by DIRECT DEPOSIT unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on “hardship” evidence provided by the employee.
