Qualifications for our Speech Therapist SLP position include:

Graduate of an accredited Speech Therapy program
Speech Language Pathologist License in good standing and able to practice in the state of Georgia
Two years of experience in Skilled Nursing community preferred
Experience working in a person directed care environment preferred
Experience working with persons living with dementia
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent team player, able to work harmoniously across multiple disciplines
Ability to effectively interact with elders and their families
Compassionate and empathetic towards elders, especially those who have communication difficulties
Ability to assess and diagnose speech and language disorders accurately
Experience with PointClickCare electronic records system preferred
