HVAC Warranty Technician

Job Details: Job Location: Any Hour Services (Ogden) - MARRIOTT-SLATERVILLE, UT, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: Up to 50% , As an HVAC Warranty Technician, you'll diagnose and repair HVAC systems covered under manufacturer or company warranty, making sure every component performs the way it's supposed to and every repair meets warranty requirements. This is steady, specialized work with room to grow as you build your knowledge of different systems and manufacturers.Key Responsibilities• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, components, and equipment covered under warranty• Verify warranty coverage and ensure all work complies with manufacturer and company warranty policies• Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and parts replaced for each job• Submit accurate warranty claims with required documentation to manufacturers or vendors• Communicate clearly with customers about the issue, warranty coverage, and completed repairs• Collect payments and maintain accurate truck inventory• Collaborate with service managers, dispatch, and parts departments to complete warranty jobs on time• Maintain tools, equipment, and your company vehicle in safe, clean working condition• Follow all safety protocols, EPA requirements, and local and state HVAC codesWe Offer• Weekly pay with incentives and bonuses• 401(k) retirement with company match• Holiday pay, vacation pay, & paid time off• Company events & parties• Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, & long and short-term disability insuranceQualifications: Education• High school diploma or equivalent required• Trade school or technical HVAC training preferredExperience• 2+ years of HVAC service or repair experience, with knowledge of manufacturer warranty processes strongly preferred• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, diagnostics, and repair practicesLicenses/Certifications• EPA Section 608 certification required; NATE certification preferred (certification requirements may vary by state or region)• Valid driver's license with clean driving record requiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracyPhysical Demands and Conditions• Lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and extended periods of standing orwalking• Work performed indoors, outdoors, and occasionally in confined spaces or at heightsWork Environment/Travel• Field-based role with daily travel to residential and commercial customer locations• May require evening, weekend, or overtime shiftsAbility to pass background check and drug screening
