Activity Associate II - $4,000 Sign-on Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment).

 

Mars, PA

 

Part-time, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., every other weekend, including rotating Mondays and Fridays.

The Activity Associate II works under broad supervision with general exercise of independent judgment in the planning, coordinating, and implementing of a comprehensive community life program to meet the needs of residents. Implements activities and programs that encourage independence.


Qualifications

Activity Associate II responsibilities include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and certification/registration in related field.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of the methods and techniques of comprehensive multi-level recreation programs to meet the needs of residents.
  • Knowledge of concepts, principles and practices related to dealing with the rehabilitation of residents.
  • Knowledge of relevant facility handbooks, policies, procedures, regulations, and statutes.
  • Maintains current certification/registration.
