Overview

Supply Tech IIMarshalltown HospitalShift/Schedule: As-Needed (PRN); approximately 8–12 hours per month, typically daytime hours Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Join our Supply Chain team at Marshalltown Hospital and help ensure caregivers have the supplies and equipment they need to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Supply Tech II, you’ll play an essential behind-the-scenes role in supporting clinical teams by keeping supplies stocked, organized, and readily available across the hospital.

You’ll collaborate closely with clinical departments and fellow team members to maintain inventory, respond to urgent supply needs, and support smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish supply closets and maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the hospital
  • Accurately perform inventory counts and identify usage trends or irregularities
  • Order supplies using inventory management systems and ensure timely restocking
  • Support optimization of supply organization, quantities, and workflow efficiencies
  • Replenish and inspect crash carts and other specialty carts for readiness
  • Respond promptly to urgent supply and equipment requests from clinical teams
  • Receive, check in, and organize incoming inventory deliveries
  • Monitor equipment availability and coordinate repairs when needed
  • Communicate supply shortages, out-of-stock items, and inventory concerns to leadership
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient supply environment

Qualifications
