JOB SUMMARY Supply Tech is responsible for pulling and delivering supplies to clean utilities and patient rooms on a schedule as assigned. Most supply areas use a two bin Kanban system to ensure supplies are ordered and stored where they are used. They are responsible for ensuring the storage areas are neat, tidy, stocked and fully functioning. They work with and support Blue Bin stage operations team in the warehouse and support strider team moving supplies to specific locations.Â

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSÂ Â Â
Counts pulls and fills linen requisitions using proper technology and process Â
Completes and follow Kanban standard work for operating procedures #3000 Replenishing Blue bin technology, #3001 Blue bin Stage operation, and #3002 The art of filling Blue binsÂ
Follows the empty Blue Bin returns process by pulling away all returns to original locations.Â
Demonstrates an understanding of how stage operation works and the Supply Tech 1 role in that operation.Â
Demonstrates teamwork/cooperation in providing services to direct/indirect customersÂ
Keeps Supervisor and team leads informed of pertinent information related to job duties and the completion of scheduled work, pulling the andon when assistance is requiredÂ
Fosters an environment of PDCA in their daily work activities. Support of PEX activities and lean trainingÂ
Meets productivity /work standards while demonstrating competency in job skills and knowledge by completing scheduled work in allotted timeframeÂ
Maintains required department confidentiality and abides by HIPPA regulations.Â
Provides competent patient care to the above indicated patient populations by obtaining and appropriately interpreting data, making appropriate decisions based on demonstrated knowledge of age-specific growth and development, and appropriately adapting procedures and treatments.Â

Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 5 years.Â
