Mattawan, MichiganAre you an experienced Production Scheduler who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with others, and keeping manufacturing operations running efficiently?We're looking for a Senior Production Scheduler to join our Materials Planning & Logistics (MP&L) team!In this role, you'll play an important part in coordinating customer demand, production capacity, and operational priorities within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. Coordinate customer demand with available labor, equipment, tooling, and materials to support efficient production. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, material shortages, and capacity constraints to minimize disruptions. Collaborate with Operations, Materials, Purchasing, and Customer Service to align production priorities. Monitor production performance, inventory levels, and scheduling data to support informed decisions and continuous improvement. Coordinate scheduling requirements for new product launches, engineering changes, and preventive maintenance activities. Support improvements to ERP/MRP planning processes, scheduling accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.Qualifications: What We're Looking For 5+ years of production scheduling, production planning, or materials planning experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of capacity planning, inventory management, and manufacturing operations. Experience with ERP/MRP systems; IQMS experience preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage changing priorities. Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.Additional Preferred Experience: Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience. Familiarity with EDI customer releases and OEM delivery requirements.
