Primary Duties/Responsibilities/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience programming CNC vertical machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis)
  • Proven experience programming multi-axis CNC lathes and Swiss-style lathes
  • Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion, 360, Esprit, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling selection, and workholding for a variety of materials
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a continuous improvement mindset
  • Experience conducting first article inspections and using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM, etc.)
  • Experience programming and integrating 6 axis robots for machine systems or tending
  • Strong tool selection knowledge and ability to work with tooling vendors
