Job Summary

Advance is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join one of our client’s growing electrical teams in McAllen, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of licensed electricians.

The Apprentice Electrician will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings while learning industry standards, safety practices, and local electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance
Run conduit, pull wire, and install outlets, switches, and fixtures
Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and work orders
Use hand and power tools safely and correctly
Follow all safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Transport materials and equipment as needed
Learn and apply National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Qualifications

Must have a TDLR Apprentice Electrical License
4+ Years of Commercial Electrical Experience

Enrollment in or completion of an electrical trade school is a plus
Basic knowledge of electrical tools and materials
Valid Driver’s License + Reliable Transportation
Able to Lift Up to 50 lbs. & Work at Heights
