Security Officer

Job Details: Job Location: SiCar Farms Ltd Co - mcallen, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Responsibilities: Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry and allows exit to trailers Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, restraining trespassers Control traffic in the yard by directing inbound and outbound drivers Use of scale system for inbound and outbound loads Audit outbound loads vs paperwork and make sure information corresponds and trailers are secured Keep good communication with the company’s shipping & receiving and logistics teams Validate inbound loads seals vs paperwork and assigning seals to outbound loads Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures Maintain environment safe and secured by monitoring and setting building and equipment Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements Contribute to security team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises Provide excellent customer service Adhere to all company service and operating standards Respond to emergency situations to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers when needed Protect the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues Follow procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, patrolling premises regularly, traffic control, and accident investigations Report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches to security lead and HR manager   Ensure operation of security equipment and surveillance cameras by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations 1 year or more experience Obtain help by sounding alarms  Qualifications: Knowledge: Written and Verbal Communication Following Complex Instructions Interpersonal Skills Knowledge of Security Operations and Procedure Manage Multiple Tasks Knowledge of Basic Security and Fire Inspection Procedures Lifting Judgment Objectivity Dependability Emotional Control Integrity Safety Management Professionalism Reporting Skills Patrolling Attention to Detail Communication
