SAIC's Core Creative Studio is seeking a Communications Specialist to join our team and support an up-tempo, creative environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer located in McLean, VA. The Communications Specialist will support our customer in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a significant impact on mission. This role requires expertise in managing communications across digital and print platforms, updating and editing existing content, drafting new materials, and developing and implementing effective communication strategies to drive impactful outreach and engagement.

POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT PENDING CONTRACT AWARD

This position will be in McLean, VA.

Travel: Required for this role.

All candidates will be required to provide writing samples prior to an interview. Please submit up to three examples of your work. Examples should align with the skills required for this role.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Assist in developing and implementing strategic and tactical communications plans.

  • Identify effective channels and tools to engage diverse audiences and maximize reach and desired outcomes.

  • Plan and develop digital communications products to include newsletters, highlight memos, informational articles and placemats, formal leadership messages, and other media products in written or other media formats.

  • Support events including offsites, conferences, awards ceremonies, and all-hands meetings.

  • Proactively research and propose creative alternatives to traditional communications.

  • Familiar with utilizing various methods to measure the effectiveness of communications.
