Responsibilities

The Sponsor is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to provide a wide range of communications services to a Front Office Communications Team in support of internal and external communications objectives of the Principals and Executive Director. 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Support the planning and execution of workforce events. 
  • Manage external speaking engagements for the senior leadership team, including handling event scheduling and logistics.
  • Create polished written products for the senior leadership team including scene setters and talking points for use at internal and external events.  
  • Draft, edit, and publish workforce communications including messages from the senior leadership team. 
  • Contribute to the routine publication of a newsletter by collecting, editing, and authoring content. 
  • Draft written products including news articles, workforce notes, and web content. 
  • Execute comprehensive internal communications campaigns for Front Office initiatives. 
  • Proactively pitch ideas for workforce communications. 
  • Write and edit a wide range of communication products and the ability to produce high-quality written content. 
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. 
  • Work collaboratively with all partners - internal and external - and professionally represent the Front Office.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism in communications. 
  • Experience supporting a fast-paced office and adapt to changing mission requirements. 

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience including 3 years with the customer.
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Demonstrated experience with C-suite and/or executive-level support.  
  • Excellent judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated ability to prepare executive-level correspondence.  
  • Outstanding organizational and planning skills with the ability to synthesize large quantities of disparate information.  
  • Strong time management skills with the demonstrated ability to keep complex organizations or initiatives on schedule to meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter and team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude and solid project management skills (e.g. planning, tracking, and reporting).  
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills. 
  • Strong critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills that can be applied to processes.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.  
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. 
  • Prior experience with the Customer's domain, including enterprise IT and/or mission support.  
  • Familiarity and experience with Customer access management, travel, and action planning tools.  

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
