Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial equipment, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues to maintain production efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

You will be part of a team-oriented environment, where safety is our value. Each Team Member will have engagement in safety and quality to help ensure the safety of our employees and deliver the best possible quality to our customers.


Available Shifts:


Overnights: 7:00pm – 7:00am (May train on days before going to shift)

Days: 7:00am-7:00pm 



Requirements

  • Understand and adhere to Job Instructions Breakdown (JIB) for operation within their scope of duty.
  • Actively work as a team member, giving feedback on operating and quality practices to their team and supervision.
  • Operate Crane/Forklift to move materials in preparation for transfer to the next process.
  • Perform Safety Observations; provide feedback on production or safety issues on machines.
  • Operate, monitor, and adjust manufacturing equipment to meet production goals and quality standards.
  • Perform machine setup, changeovers, and routine operational adjustments.
  • Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical and operational issues.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance this includes Operators Basic Care and communicate equipment concerns to maintenance personnel.
  • Read and interpret work instructions, production schedules, and machine specifications.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve productivity and efficiency.


Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and high noise levels.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed (Mandatory Overtime).


Qualifications:

Minimum: High School Diploma/ GED

$22.56/hour plus $1.00 night shift differential. 




Work Schedule 

  • This position follows a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift schedule, which provides employees with every other weekend off.

Schedule Details:

  • Week 1: Work 2 days, off 2 days, work 3 days
  • Week 2: Off 2 days, work 2 days, off 3 days
  • Shifts are 12 hours per day
  • Employees work 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next, averaging 42 hours per week
  • Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend

Work Location: In person, on site
