This Enrichment Specialist is a unique role that will work with both our Personal Care and Skilled Nursing residents and teams. Schedule Details: Part Time; 42 hours/pay Schedule: 12:30-8:30pm in Personal Care - Every Other Weekend and alternating Tuesday/Thursday rotation 5:00-8:00pm in Skilled Nursing - Wednesdays and Fridays Participate in holiday rotation ✨ What Will Help You Succeed We’re looking for someone who brings a caring heart, a team-oriented attitude, and a willingness to learn! What You’ll Do As an Enrichment Specialist, you’ll help create meaningful experiences and build connections with our residents every day! Plan, organize, and lead person-centered, meaningful, and age-appropriate group programs. Encourage and invite residents to participate in activities, providing transportation assistance to and from programs when needed. ️ Work with your manager to request and/or purchase supplies needed for engaging programming. Accurately and timely document resident activity participation in our electronic record and coordinate with care team members to capture other engagement experiences. ️ Assist residents during mealtimes while creating opportunities for socialization and connection with fellow residents and team members. Keep activity areas, office spaces, and activity storage areas clean, organized, and tidy. Work cooperatively and productively with residents, families, and fellow team members. Follow proper safety procedures and use devices/equipment appropriately to promote a safe working environment. Work willingly under direction and supervision. Apply today!   QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Ability to plan, coordinate and conduct meaningful enrichment programs Must have basic knowledge of computer programs, audio-visual equipment, and communication devices Must work with children due to intergenerational programming as well as older adults Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm Must demonstrate professionalism and patience while supporting residents displaying  challenging behavioral expressions Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required Prior experience working directly with residents in long term care and/or residents with dementia preferred Prior caregiving experience with resident care or basic hygiene tasks preferred
