Job Details: Job Location: Mechanicsville Toyota - Mechanicsville, VA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $40000.00 - $45000.00Salary/year, Job Category: Accounting, Summary Accounting Clerk to handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting tasks.Essential Duties Accounts Payable (AP): Process invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, and ensure timely payments. Accounts Receivable (AR): Post payments, manage customer accounts, and follow up on outstanding balances. Perform general accounting tasks such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial record-keeping. Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes. Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate financial records and reports. Maintains a professional appearance. Other duties as assigned.  Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions Mathematical Skills  Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages . Automotive dealership experience a plus. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good organizational and time management skills. High school diploma or equivalent required.
