What You'll Do

As a Consumer Funds Coordinator, you will:

• Support high-quality program operations and service delivery for individuals with IDD
• Ensure services are provided in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor SNAP benefits, resources, and related support needs 
• Coordinate monthly reviews of client funds, room and board, and financial records with administrative teams
• Coordinate medical, social, housing, and community resources to support overall well-being
• Maintain confidential and accurate records related to client funds and financial activities
• Collaborate with families, providers, and support teams to ensure ongoing needs are identified and addressed
• Manage client financial accounts as a Representative Payee, including payments, transactions, and financial recordkeeping
• Process stipends, check requests, and room and board payments in compliance with established guidelines
• Reconcile accounts, maintain financial documentation, and complete required reports
• Conduct assessments and assist with the development of person-centered service plans
• Monitor individual progress and support implementation of ISP goals and services
• Support and oversee Program Managers to ensure compliance, accountability, and best practices related to client funds

Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience managing SNAP benefits, Social Security benefits, or other related services 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to support and implement RHD's mission and values

Candidates must meet one of the following:

• Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
• Associate Degree and four (4) years of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism
• High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience directly supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism

Preferred

• Experience managing client funds or serving in a Representative Payee role
• Experience with person-centered planning and ISP development
• Supervisory or leadership experience within human services programs

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Regular business hours with flexibility as needed
• Travel to meetings, program locations, and home visits as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel throughout the service area for meetings and home visits
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform computer-based work for extended periods
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
