Role:

Rogue Credit Union's Internship Program is designed to guide and train students who are interested in a career in the department's field. Students are mentored by professionals in their field and learn both interpersonal and business-related skills.

 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

95%    Assists the assigned department with research and special projects according to the internship documents

 

5%     Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience: 0-2 years of knowledge or experience 

Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited educational institution. 

 

Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) may become necessary.

 

Physical Requirements: Some lifting required (up to 30 pounds), continuous sitting, occasional standing and occasional walking. Finger dexterity while using computer. Occasional talking and hearing in person and on the telephone. Continuous clarity of vision at 20 inches or less and continuous clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.

 

Work Environment: This position requires flexibility in scheduling tasks and projects. The Intern must independently monitor hours and judge the time needed to be spent on applicable duties. The Intern must be able to proactively adjust to unpredictable schedules. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery.
