Job Title: Security Guard

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time, night shift, dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. This role requires a proactive approach to security and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.

- Respond to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as needed.

- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds.

- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security and safety.

- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.

- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.

- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.

- Basic knowledge of security systems and protocols.

- Physical fitness to perform patrol duties and respond to incidents.

Requirements

Must be 18+ years of age.

Must be able to obtain and maintain state issued Pari-mutuel license.

Must have both D and G security licenses.
