Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to elevate patient care? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. In this role, you will help Occupational Therapists provide therapy treatments, advocate for patient recovery, and contribute to our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilities.

  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment plan.

  • Teach patients new skills and techniques to enhance their independence and daily functioning.

  • Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly.

  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

What We Are Looking For

  • Education: Associate’s degree or certification from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

  • License: Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required; current state licensure.

  • Skills: Exceptional communication, empathy, and a professional presentation.

  • Experience: Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred.

  • Physical Readiness: Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting and intermittent movement.
