Richardson Oilseed Products US, a division of Richardson International operates a state-of-the-art oil packaging facility in Memphis, TN where it refines and packages one of the United States’ most recognized brands of canola and vegetable cooking oils, Wesson Oil.

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic (Days) at our Memphis, TN facility. The hourly wage for this position is $35.98 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety requirements, policies, and procedures; report incidents and hazards.
  • Work safely at all times using PPE, approved controls, and participating in safety initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical and pneumatic components.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems using schematics and proper component selection.
  • Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, perform basic PLC tasks, and test motors and instrumentation.
  • Perform advanced welding and troubleshoot or modify pneumatic circuits.
  • Complete preventative maintenance, document work in CMMS, and perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and overtime when needed.
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Understand instruction and follow direction.
  • Work primarily in a warm to hot environment.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
