$25/Hour (Full-Time)

Summary of Position

Core Job Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and resolving guest and staff relations, offers support to the Restaurant General Manager. 
• Assist with communicating job/shift expectations, training, handle shift callouts, and issue feedback directly to the Restaurant General Manager.
• Step into critical front and back end of house roles during staffing shortages, high volume demands, by assisting with food preparations, cooking, and guest service to maintain uninterrupted business operations. 
• Maintain inventory PAR control for the restaurant’s inventory (food, beverages, liquor, beer, wine, operational supplies, etc.)
• Assist with Point-of-Sale programming and Manager transactions processing. 
• Enforce Health Department codes, strict food sanitation procedures, TN Alcohol Commission (TNABC) laws, Marriott brand standards, safety standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager, to maintain the Food & Beverage menu.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly. 
• Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver items frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Active Safe Serve permit. 
• 1-year minimum previous kitchen/cook experience in a hotel restaurant or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to provide proof of or to obtain a TN Alcoholic Beverage Commission Server Permit after start of employment. 

 Schedule

• Sunday through Saturday (various days, shift times)
