Job Summary:Â Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments, as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results.Â
- Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan. • Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established BMG protocols/guidelines.Â
- Completes documentation as required to comply with BMG policies and procedures.Â
- Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.Â
- Participates in BMG and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.Â
- Completes assigned goals.

Experience
- Preferred/Desired: Recent experience as a Sonographer.Â

EducationÂ
- Minimum Required: ARDMS and/or CCI or new graduate who is waiting to take registry. Proof of registry/certification required by primary source must be available within 12 months of graduation. BLS certification required within 14 days of hire date.Â

Special SkillsÂ
- Minimum Required: Basic computer literacy skills.Â

LicensureÂ
- Description: ARDMS/CCI or new graduate who will obtain required registry/certification with 12 months of hire.; BLS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF HIRE
