Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver, set up, and maintain medical equipment with a patient‑first mindset, ensuring each interaction reflects compassion, respect, and attentiveness.
- Provide supportive, easy‑to‑understand education to patients and caregivers on equipment use, safety, and maintenance—empowering them to feel confident and secure in their care.
- Offer kind, patient‑centered customer service over the phone and in person, helping individuals navigate questions, concerns, and equipment needs with reassurance.
- Complete all delivery forms, documentation, and patient instructions accurately to support continuity of care and safe equipment use.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized company vehicle to ensure reliable service for patients.
- Coordinate insurance verification with care and accuracy, helping patients understand coverage and reducing stress during the intake process.
- Manage intake responsibilities—including answering calls, receiving referrals, collecting patient information, and preparing charts—with empathy and professionalism.
- Observe and communicate additional patient needs, advocating for their comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
- Prepare accurate files, tickets, and documentation for billing, routing, and daily operations to support seamless patient care.
- Provide courteous, compassionate service to walk‑in patients and referral sources, ensuring every person feels valued and supported.
- Troubleshoot equipment concerns with patience and clarity, helping patients feel reassured and safe.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical equipment, supplies, and regulations to deliver high‑quality, reliable support.
- Participate in on‑call assignments as needed, offering calm, empathetic assistance during after‑hours needs.
- Work cooperatively with team members to coordinate deliveries and ensure timely, compassionate patient service.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient health, comfort, and overall care experience.
Travel
- Travel via company/personal vehicle required to patient’s homes for set-ups and reoccurring delivery
- Use of a personal vehicle may be required for deliveries, all miles driven for company purposes will be eligible mileage reimbursement
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record
Preferred Education and/or Experience
- Experience with medical equipment, preferred
- One year of related work experience, preferred
- Medical terminology, preferred

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing abackground check, drug screening, compliance onboarding, and credentialingrequirements, as well as maintaining a valid driver’s license with a cleandriving record when applicable to the position.
