Open shifts:

2nd Shift: 1pm-9:30pm (Monday-Thurs) 12:00-8:30pm (Friday’s)

3rd Shift: 9pm-5:30am (Monday-Thurs) and 9:30pm-5:30am (Sundays)

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct production personnel in railcar unloading, packaging, blending, and tanker loading. 

  • Develop production personnel and monitor work practices to ensure that work is safe, efficient, and accurate. 

  • Comply with and enforce all safety procedures, operating procedures, and policies.  Reinforce a strong safety culture at the site.

  • Approve/monitor overtime work.

  • Develop and implement the detailed daily production schedule.

  • Perform various computer transactions to add material to inventory upon receipt, print bill of ladings, manage inventory,

  • input/communicate quality issues, etc.

  • Insure equipment is in proper operating condition; report any repair issues to the Maintenance Department.

  • Represent Brenntag Pacific group in a professional manner.

Your Profile 

Education & Experience 

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or equivalent work experience in the chemical industry, and three years supervisory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Ability to read, write and speak the English language. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.

  • Proficient level of skill in Microsoft Office.

  • Forklift and Driving Experience

  • Possess good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet time-sensitive deadlines.

  • Ability to supervise/lead others by setting expectations, monitoring performance, coaching as needed, and holding employees accountable for their performance.

  • Possess good written/oral communication skills.
