Job Description

The Technical Analyst works with the product development team on the prototyping, design and qualification testing of Motion Control products in accordance with accepted engineering practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prototype validation testing and product qualification testing
  • Maintaining laboratory tools and equipment
  • Building and modifying motor and drive test systems
  • Modification and rework of the product under test and prototypes
  • Analyze, design, and schedule the implementation of testing

The Essential Qualifications: You Will Have

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • Less than 10% travel is required

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Associate degree in Electronic / Electrical Technology
  • Mechanical aptitude to build test fixtures, mount motors, and use power hand tools
  • Familiarity with engineering laboratory operation, test instrumentation, test procedures and electrical and electronic test equipment
  • Experience with printed circuit board component modifications and soldering
  • Understanding electrical and basic electronics principles
  • Leading limited scope test efforts
  • Experience in support of microprocessor based digital and/or analog circuitry and power electronics
  • Knowledge of laboratory health and safety rules
  • Direct experience with the operation of microprocessor based digital and/or analog circuitry and power electronics
  • Knowledge of lab certification, lab audits, UL/IEC agency requirements
  • Experience leading limited scope testing efforts
  • Familiarity with RSLogix and/or ladder logic or test automation development
