Brown & BrownĀ is seeking aĀ Commercial Lines Account ManagerĀ to join our growing team inĀ Meridian, ID.Ā 

Ā 

The Commercial Lines Account Manager delivers exceptional client service while managing and supporting a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, carriers, and internal teams — handling policy servicing, account management, and supporting new business and renewal activities.Ā 

Ā 

How You Will Contribute:Ā 

  • Serve as a primary contact for client inquiries, providingĀ timely, professional, and high-quality service.Ā 

  • Manage inbound and outbound phone call service requests, andĀ day-to-day service requests including policy changes, endorsements, certificates, ID cards, and coverage questions.Ā 

  • Support clients with billing questions, payment processing, and premium collection.Ā 

  • Develop andĀ maintainĀ strong client relationships to support retention and long-termĀ partnerships.Ā 

  • Prepare, review, and process insurance documents includingĀ certificates of insurance, binders and endorsements, and renewalĀ accords/supplementals and proposals.Ā 

  • MaintainĀ accurateĀ client records in agency management systems, including updates, file documentation, and tracking open items.Ā 

  • Collect and analyze client exposure data andĀ assistĀ inĀ identifyingĀ coverage gaps.Ā Ā 

  • Verify invoicing accuracy andĀ assistĀ with premium finance agreements and accounting-related items.Ā 

  • Manage mid-term policy changes andĀ assistĀ with renewal strategy and stewardship reviews.Ā 

  • IdentifyĀ opportunities forĀ additionalĀ coverage to mitigate uninsured or underinsured exposures.Ā 

Ā Ā 

Licenses & Certifications:   

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.Ā 

Ā 

Skills & Experience to Be Successful:Ā 

  • 3+ years of commercial lines account management.Ā 

  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills.Ā 

  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Ā 

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.Ā 

  • Ability to service within modern tech-centric agency management systems.Ā Ā 

PreferredĀ 

  • Equivalent work experience or equivalent college degree.Ā Ā 

  • Experience in commercial insurance markets and carrier relationships.

  • Experience supporting marketing, renewals, or new business placement.
