Job Summary

The Athletics Facility Monitor will work in Alumnae Hall, the Community Center, or the outdoor athletic fields, as assigned. Overall duties include maintaining a safe and clean environment for those using the facility. The position will involve working nights, weekends, and potentially during scheduled vacation breaks in the academic calendar.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor all persons using the facility and verify that all are permitted on campus and in the athletic spaces (students, faculty, staff, and renters)
Put away all equipment to its proper location
Understand, follow, and enforce all facility policies
Report any mechanical or facility issues to supervisor immediately
Report to work on time and staff for the full shift
Record all hours on Federal Work Study Timesheet
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor of the position

Minimum Qualifications

New or returning undergraduate student
Currently enrolled in classes for the semester the position is offered
Must be able to work nights, weekends, vacation breaks, and during special events
Must possess and maintain Adult CPR/AED Certifications (required document)
