Limited Energy Systems Installer

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is to install, test, and repair electronic systems including fire alarm, video surveillance, access control and structured cabling systems in commercial, institutional, and industrial environments. 

• Ensure a safe job site, maintaining compliance with company safety standards
• Work in a team environment, seeking to understand best practices for quality installations
• Install pathway, raceway and cabling in new or existing buildings
• Installation of low voltage system devices, i.e. fire alarm, cameras, readers, etc..
• Termination and testing of low voltage cabling
• Communicate progress of work, delivery, and implementation
• Analyze blueprints effectively for job site knowledge
• Analyze upcoming tasks and anticipates equipment, procedures and training
• Accurately complete required paperwork
• Travel to various jobsite locations, overnight stays may be required-Per Diem will be paid to cover expenses

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license-must be 18 years old
• Submit to pre-employment background and drug testing
• Previous experience with construction or mechanical work i.e. automotive repair, residential construction, or general assembly is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills - verbal, written and listening
• Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel is preferred
• Demonstrate interest in electronic or electrical systems
• Union participation is required-International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 388

SCHEDULE:
June through September Monday to Friday 1^st Shift, 5 days/8hrs per day or 4 days/10hrs days-Start times vary however typical is 6:00AM-Full time-long term potential

WAGE

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour plus travel and per diem
